Ideas to get over the hump.....

I am at a stand still! Does anyone have any good ideas that can help me move my body back into weight loss mode? I have about 31 pounds left but since about Christmas I have been struggling. Any help will be appreciated!!! :)

    Hi

I recently read in a womens health and fitness magazine that one way to help get past a plateau is to increase your protein intake and lower your carbs for a week to kick start the metabolism. It's worth a try.

Let me know if you try it and how you get along.

As your body changes so does your calorie needs. Have you adjusted them appropriately?

    DRINK WATER.

I can't see your food diary so I don't know precisely what you are doing. My best general advice is to replace simple carbs with healthy fats like olive oil, avacado (assuming you dont have a latex allergy), nuts, nut butters, and fatty fish.

Of course, I'm working on the assumption that diets good for the heart, are in general, just plain good for you :)

If you are at a plateau everything stated earlier is good advice. Around the holidays many people also tend to "cheat" a little... even if it is a piece of candy here and there it adds up. I have seen plenty of people sabotage their weight loss that way.

If that is not the issue then check your food intake, yes drink water (as in lots), and possibly check your workouts and maybe switch that up a bit in case your body is getting "used" to them.

    Best of luck!
