Motivation to burn some extra calories

I need some motivation to burn some extra calories through out the day. Im not much for going to the gym. Although I did begin C25K in October/November and completed 4 weeks - which I loved and then it got freezing and snowing. Once it warms back up I will begin it all over again. But until then I need some ideas for short workouts at home. I do some DVD's and just purchased a hoola hoop. Any other suggestions?

    Find DIY projects around the house that need to be done. You can burn plenty of calories killing off a list of stuff around the house. Painting, landscaping (although probably not in this weather), etc can all be good options if you don't like going to the gym. Just find ways to stay active and you'll see results.

    Maybe sign up for a race? You could walk it if you don't want to run, but in that case, make it a longer distance (maybe half marathon?) so that you have to train for it!

    Other than that, food is my main motivation...being able to eat more each day!
