Is Caffeine an Appetite Suppressant?

I hardly ingest any caffeine. All I drink it water, but today I woke up with a huge headache and took an Excedrine Migrane that contains about as much caffeine as a cup of coffee. I noticed it's now 2:00pm and I'm not hungry for lunch. The only thing I did differently today was take this medicine. Is Caffeine in fact an appetite suppressant?

You'd be surprised what has caffeine, it's not just drinks. Most chocolate has a good amount, as one common example.0 -

For me, at least, it is. I can drink a coffee at 8 a.m. and than eat around 1, which they say is not good as I don't eat enough calories. Aghhh....0

Many of the so called appetite suppressant pills have caffeine as a major ingredient. Though like anything else if you take enough, often enough your body will adapt to it.0
