why don't paleo people eat grains?

because hunter and gatherers didnt have farms our early ancestors just roamed the plains killing animals and picking up whatever fruit, vegetables they could find. I'd argue that they did eat grain including wild grasses which evenually became the rice, wheat, and corn we know today.
But thats why you only eat what you hunt and gather. Mostly meat and seasonal plants.0 -

They beleive that they are bad for you and modern humans cannot digest them properly, even though Paleo man ate grains0 -
THey weren't around in the palaeolithic era.
THey came in the agricultural era.
Other than that they're quite a dense source of carbohydrate and some people have trouble regulating their appetite with them.0 -

The thought/hook/gimmick/science/call it what you will is that because humans in the paleolithic era didn't consume grains, we haven't evolved the proper digestive system to deal with them.0
