working out with minor injuries?

I started crossfit training last week. Felt nice and sore all week. I go to pick up my son today and I stepped down off a curb and pinched something in my neck/ shoulder area. I was looking forward to working out tonight (can't miss my burpee challenge) but I'm wondering if I should rest through it instead? I don't want to screw myself up more. What would you do?

  • I would wait until I felt better. Maybe you could talk to the trainer, let them know the issue, and they could modify your WOD accordingly.
