Hi, I just made some semi-homemade brownies. I calculated the calories per serving and it came out to 167 calories each. (Bigger brownies...only did 8 servings.)

What can I do lower the calorie intake and still have moist brownie?

I used yogurt in place of the oil.

Any ideas?

I posted a recipe on here for 51 calorie brownies (16 servings). I used 2 riped bananas, 1 c. unsweetened applesauce, 1/4 c. flour, 1/4 c. flax seed meal, 1/4 c. cocoa, dash salt, 1/2 tsp vanilla, optional: 1/4 c. dark chocolate chips. These are rich and tasty! Bake 350 for 30 minutes.

Oh, sounds good! Do you need the flax seed?

I just found this recipe by Jillian Michael. Has anyone tried it?
