For Valentine's day, I am taking the older women in my family out to a nice tea. I am going to a nice tea place for lunch. Here is the menu :

Which parts of the tea foods should I avoid at all costs? I do not eat meat or poultry, so I will probably not be able to have the sandwiches, and I already know to stay away from the cream. Any tips to help me stay on track?

Fresh fruit is always a good option - and I looked up "French Onion" soup, and if you asked for it without all the cheese/bread it seems to come with, that might be a good bet. The sandwiches might also have, say, a cream cheese and vegetable option.
But remember above all you're there to enjoy yourself, not to worry about food. You could always squeeze in a little extra workout or skip dessert at home to splurge a few calories with your family0
