Logging with a fitbit

I don't think I burn over 2500 calories today. do I log exercise on here or just let fitbit adjust. I did not log on fitbit site, made sure I put the start time.

I log it under the activity on FitBit and then let FitBit sync with MFP.
I do make a note under the exercise on here so I know what I did each day if I went back to look and also so that my accountability pals can see which workouts I did each day.

I believe when you log your exercise on FitBit it calculates and adjusts what you would have burned anyway during that time frame.

Set your MFP to sedentary. Because on days when your lazy, you don't want it bumping your calorie count high.

Next... walk and fitbit auto syncs to your MFP. You'll gain exercise calories the more you walk.

Next... log your other fitness either on the Fitbit site, or MFP --it doesn't matter. You put in the times you did that exercise so Fitbit changes how it calculates during your workout session so it doesn't double count.

I'm just having a hard time think I could burn almost 2600 (it sync as I was sitting at pc) calories in one day. I just did not want to do anything wrong. I thought I was sedentardry till last week when I got it and seen how much I was moving around. I have only been in a car once so I know it was not that.

How long have you had it?
Initially, it goes off your age and the stats that you enter, then it actually begins to average out based on your true daily numbers what it thinks you will burn that day. Then of course, updates to the actuals.

the 2600 is with everything you do during the day - not just with exercise. that is with walking to the bathroom, breathing, cooking, every little movement. - you get like 1500 calories just for being alive and breathing.
so that would be 2600 calories a day to maintain your current weight.
