bmr vs tdee-20% for quick weight loss

I will be going on vacation in mid April and was wondering for fastest fat loss until then would I be better off continuing tdee-20 or drop down to bmr? I can feel a difference as far as tone but would like to take off a little of the "surface fat". I currently do 30DS and 30 mins cardio 6 days/week.
stats: 5'7"
cw 140
tdee-20 @ 1700
bmr @ 1400

I do realize in the long run I should eat well above bmr but looking for maximized results from now til April.

    fast completely - you'll loose a ton of weight. (read in sarcastic tone!).

    Seriously, do whatever is sustainable to you. It's your choice with your body.

    Neither... they both do the same thing, the difference is how much logging you do. But both should have you at about the same place at the end of the day.
