I am going on a cruise in March with the girls!! I need some pointers...This is the best I have ever done on weight loss. So how should I proceed the week I am gone?? Count and log every day? Eat what I want? Start fresh when I get back??....Lay it on me!! What would you do Thanks!!

    I usually attempt my best to log my food but don't restrict myself to it.
    Just log and make the best choices you can. Plus you will likely be doing walking and such while out so log some of that too :)

    Then hit it hard when you get back.

    I lost weight so I could enjoy my life more and do everything I want, when I want without being ashamed or worried. If I were to go on holiday, I'd eat what I wanted. I've learnt a lot and can generally apply that but I wouldn't let it worry me over a vacation. It's not the vacation that makes you fat, it's what you do the rest of the time. You may gain weight but you have the tools to get it off again. Enjoy yourself :)

    I don't restrict myself on vacation but I do try to eat fruit/salads when I can before eating other stuff. That helps fill me up. I also make sure I walk a lot. Walk around the ship a few times a day and you'll burn a lot of cals. Those ships are huge! When I went to Mexico our room was in the back of the resort so walking to the ocean, pool, or food places gave us plenty of exercise. I didn' t gain a pound while I was gone and I drank a lot of alcohol.

    DO NOT RESTRICT WHEN ON VACATION!!!!

    if you want something, damn well eat it!! yes you have done well, just work hard as *kitten* when you get back!!!
