sunflower, almond, and cashew butter...(but all are some calories).0

PB20

PB2 or other nut butters, but if you are having a really hard time kicking the peanut butter habit measure out one TBSP and microwave it for 10 secs, when it's melted you can spread it thinner and over more stuff so you can just use 1-2 TBSP per serving. I find that if I have 2 pieces of peanut butter toast with 1.5 TBSP peanut butter for breakfast I am full for a long time0

Yeah, I agree. It also spreads better than full organic, so you can use less.0 -
Natural peanut butter like Teddie brand. No sugar. Same amount of calories but tastes way better.0
-
PB2 ~~ regular peanut butter tends to be a trigger food. Peanut butter is not the best source of protein and i tend to stay away from it for that reason.0
-
Crazy Richard's PB is all-natural and SO good. Same amount of calories, I believe, but nothing added. Only peanuts, so there is no sodium.
And who wants to give up peanut butter?0 -
PB2 isn't awful.....But it's not peanut butter. Just eat the real stuff.

PB2 it tastes pretty close to real PB and is only 45 calories! Its a powder you mix with water. They also have it in chocolate. I buy mine online0

In my opinion, nope! All the nut butters and spread have high calories, but they are excellent sources of protein and healthy oil/fat. I do try to use natural peanut butter when I can to cut down on the bit of added sugar and such in Skippy (my fave). But I just moderate the amount I take in. I do celery and peanut butter almost daily.0 -

PB2 is great "mixed in" stuff (oatmeal ...mmmm). But real peanut butter ... no substitute. It's got lots of healthy fat.0 -

I use the PB2 as well. It's not Jiff, but it's a decent stand in sometimes. I use it in things I want peanut butter flavor in like oatmeal or smoothies, but I still use Jiff for things like peanut butter toast. The fat in it keeps me fuller longer than the PB2.0

Thanks! I will look into these alternatives. I don't mind the calories, but 90 per tablespoon? I love peanut butter, so I can only imagine how much i pile on a sandwich.0

Wait! What's PB2? I need to look into that! lol0

so don't cut it out!!
you have two options: option A is to start accuratly measuring and tracking your peanut butter consumption; option 2 is to do that, but eat less.0 -
Nothing replaces PB creamy goodness, however to mix in stuff (shakes, oatmeal etc) I use PB2, you can find it in organic section of grocery store or Amazon!0

Better N Peanut Butter is pretty decent.0

I say find something else to cut. There's no way I'm giving up Jiff peanut butter. It's just not happening. I buy the little single containers and try to split it up between two days of snacking. Doesn't always happen, but I'm okay with that. I'll do something extra to make up for the calories. Mmmm, now I want peanut butter.0

PB2, I haven't tried it but i hear it's pretty good. Nothing wrong with regular peanut butter. I eat it daily. 1-2tbsp a day. I buy trader joes peanut butter. Only ingredients are peanuts and salt. (i buy the salted one)0
-
Can't replace it unless you want something with different nutritional values. Peanut Butter is what it is.
I cannot eat nuts so I have WowButter and it's ridiculously good and has omega-3's which peanut butter doesn't have and from what I remember (I wasn't always allergic) it could rival the flavor of PB.0 -
SO TRUE! Due to the high cals....I just stay away. But I do miss it. Just think you can have it on special occasions everything in moderation0

You have to stand your ground on something. Mine is peanut butter. Walk at a fast pace for an extra 15 minutes and grab a spoonful. Cut out a can of Pepsi and enjoy two spoonfulls.0

Yup, use a scale. And then enjoy every lick of peanut butter you can fit into your daily calories. Yummmmmm.0 -
