    About 3 years ago, my daughter picked up my phone and said "Dad, you have a text message." Turns out it was about 4 months old. She told me the text (I don't remember what it was) and asked, "What do you want me to reply?" I said, "Tell him I don't text. If he wants to talk to me, call me." She did. He never called me. That was my last (and only) text message.

    Texting is a waste of time.
