how many days a week should i lift?

I own p90x and i absolutely detest most of the cardio disks. I however love most of the weight lifting disks.
I'm in the process of realizing that weight lifting will help me look better and feel better in my own body because the scale has refused to move in almost 3mons.
So i was just wondering...how many days a week do you lift? I normally give myself atleast 2-3 days a week between working out different parts of my body and i also go by what my body says.

It really depends on your routine. If you separate the major muscles on different days, three days a week will be sufficient. When I am in build mass mode, I usually go every other day. Its all comes down to what you want to work and how long you want to spend sweating every day.0
