MFP helped me get real again.

I guess I skipped this post, but in hindsight I'm glad I did because I learned something in a few weeks here that is quite fundamental to me.
I removed the weight loss ticker from my forum signature. I realized that I don't care how much I weigh, I realized that I don't need to lose weight. The only thing I want really is to feel as happy as I can in this life, seeing as I already have a pretty great life with nothing much to complain about, then the icing on the cake for me means regaining the healthy life style and some of the fitness that I had 10 years ago.
I do that and then my belly will take care of it's self all in good time
I will still set goals but they will revolve around eating well, reducing body fat %, increasing fitness levels and regaining some strength in my upper body ( can't believe I used to be a climber and now I can't do 10 pull up's  )
So as clichéd as it is I'm after a life style change not a diet.
Thankfully MFP helps me do that too.
So now finally it's time to say hello!
Kind regards
Chris
