Small Victories Adding Up

I was going to just make this an NSV (non scale victory) post, but screw it, I'm proud of my SV today too!
I'm in it for the long haul this time, and each day gets me a little closer to finally being who I ultimately want to be! Today I hopped on the scale for the 2nd time since January 3rd and I'm down 12 lbs overall...about 2 pounds a week with pretty much just changing my eating habits? I'll take it!
Also, I went for a 3 mile walk/jog and shaved, no...amputated, about 15 minutes off my last 2 times doing the same loop AND was able to go up and down 4 flights of stairs at the end of the work out. (The gorgeous weather outside may have helped my motivation today.)
Feeling good and motivated! Hope you all are too. Slow and steady wins the race, right?? Anyone else want to list their small victories that will add up to big ones? I'd love to hear them!

There have been so many along the way I couldn't list them all! Most recent was finally fitting into my 19yo daughters clothes. That was a big one for me!
I just wanted to say I love you're attitude and you are 100% correct, all those small victories add up. Slow and steady is the only way to win the race. Congrats on your progress!0 -

That's awesome! I can't wait to pull out clothes I wore when I was 19 and have them HANG on me! I've been overweight for so long, I definitely will never say "oh, if I could only look like I did in high school or my 20's" but I'll be damned if I don't go into my 30's feeling like a rock star!0
