Sugar in Fruits

I am trying to eat a lot of fruit (well at least 4 servings a day, hopefully) because I think it is important. Will the sugar from fruit affect (effect?!) me negatively? I am under the impression that naturally occurring sugar is okay.
Thanks.
Thanks.

I certainly think sugar in fruits has an effect, I would aim for 1-2 portions of fruit a day, and go for something like apple or berries. Due to antioxidents. I think veggies are FAR better for you loads less sugar, more nutrients.
If you aim for 5 a day I'd go for 3-4 portions of veg definatley.0 -
As long as you are not a diabetic you should be fine. Most fruit has more calories than veggies so as long as you long in what you are eating, you are good.
I usually eat 2 or 3 servings of fruit a day plus veggies and have never had a problem. Better fruit than a candy bar0 -
Thanks!
I get most of my calories from veggies, so I should be good there. I am not diabetic, but it runs in my extended family.
Thank you for your help.0
