I have been reading a lot of threads on here about this topic and a lot of them are confused people such as myself. I'm just wondering about my calories. I am 5'8, 220 pounds, 47, female. I have my calories set for 1500. I run 3x a week and do JM Shred every day usually. C25K I usually burn 200 to 300 calories and Shred 200 to 300 calories. I usually eat my calories back or most of them. Is this enough calories...too much calories? What do you think....sorry if this has been discussed to death...

You can work out your tdee and eat at a deficit from that, maybe 10% or 20% depending on how much you have to lose. Or you can follow MFP's calories but eat back your exercise calories. Mine worked out about the same but I have had more success eating the same calories every day regardless of exercise. Some people find it better to eat more on exercise days, less on rest days. You have to play around with it to see what works for you.0
