Beginning the Journey

Hello, my name is Robert. I am 24 and a month ago I weighed in at 340 pounds.

Joining here on advice from my personal trainer to keep track of my food, but thought I would use the boards as well.

In the past month I've changed how I eat, have only had one small thing that was friend in a month, have cut sugared drinks out of my diet, have started doing the couch 2 5k program, been going to the gym a minimum of 5 times per week, which includes lifting weights for the first time of my life, and today signed up for swim lessons.

Of yesterday I weighed in at 320, already down 20 at the end of my first month, and I couldn't be happier. I see the results and feel them as well. I know this road will get very bumpy, but I look forward to reading many other's stories to help push through it.
