need a distraction

im a shift worker and tonight is my 2nd of 3 night shifts (515pm-515am). i packed healthy food but of course, leftovers from today's luncheon (that i happily missed) are lingering around the office. the one thing tempting me is the massive bag of pita chips (i love them) sitting in our mess area, 20 ft from my desk.

im trying to be extra good for a while- im working with a trainer who has me at 120 carbs a day for 30 days, and im in a biggest loser competition at work, where im hoping to lose another 20ish lbs in the ten weeks we have left.

so far ive been doing really great- so im just asking for some reminders to avoid wandering to that bag as the night progresses. if its anythng like last night, its going to a LONG SLOW night. and i have 9 hrs to go :-\

    :Put the bag at the opposite end of the office. This is a perfect opportunity for you to work on your self-disipline.

    Just abstain for tonight. You can always have some tomorrow. They will still sell them in the stores. One day at a time.
