Anybody use a bodymedia??

Just looking for anyone who has been using one for tips and tricks. I also am interested in any good fish recipes. Eat a lot of fish and looking to mix it up a little

One big tip: Take it off while driving. It will count that as moderate activity sometimes.

I've worn one since June of last year. I like it!

I eat a lot of fish, too, but I just eat it plain. So can't help there.

I use a body media. I wear it about 23.5 hours a day, taking it off only to shower and download. I love it, but not sure what kind of tips you are looking for.

I don't have problem with driving at all. And I paid attention to this a lot for the first few months because my Fitbit was horrible about recording activity while I drove.

Some people don't, but it is possible that it will track driving as activity (there's even a section on BodyMedia's FAQ about it).

It tracks my driving as activity more often than it doesn't, so I don't wear it there. Not like you're burning a lot of calories driving anyway.

Wore it once during a 9 hour drive and burned 166 calories an hour according to the device. No way.

I am also using the bodymedia armband for the last two months. My husband make a lot of fish curry with a wide variety of fishes. We make curry dishes very healthy using only a very tiny amount of oil using 1tsp for a dish that last us two dinners.

I just got my BodyMedia a couple of days ago - so far, I dig it! I have it sync'd with MFP so now I'm trying to figure out what to do with my workouts. With my Fitbit, I'd enter a specific workout time frame and calories and then let the sync sort it out -- is the BodyMedia similar? I did a 220 cal workout yesterday (according to HRM) and was wearing my BodyMedia - wasn't sure if I should log that workout in MFP, in the BodyMedia page, or just let the device take care of it?
