Looking for a good black refried bean recipe

I mash up either cooked or canned blackbeans, add pepper, lime, garlic and onion and then cook them - I add water as i need to and cook until they start smelling good... I know that this is anything but the "traditional" refried beans - but they taste good!!0

black bean burgers - spice it up with chipotle, some homemade guacamole - delish!0

I cut up a quarter of an onion and sautee it in a little bit of olive oil. Then, I mix in some chili powder. Then I add a can of beans. (black or pinto) I'm sure you could just use cooked beans instead of canned. After letting them heat up a little, I mash them, and add a half to a whole cup of water and then let the water cook off until it looks like a good consistancy. I usually top mine with some shredded cheddar. Delicious!!!!0
