I saw this article on foxnews...I couldn’t help but read it.

http://www.foxnews.com/health/2013/02/11/6-diet-myths-busted/?intcmp=features

I was interested that it mentioned that all calories are not equal...ie...500 calories of fruits, veggies, and lean protein is not equal to 500 calories of say M&M's...that makes sense to me, but then they go off on counting calories and how that was not necessary. I think it all depends. Some strategies work for some people and other strategies for other.

Anyone have any thoughts on this article?

Interesting article... I didn't quite understand what it was saying about how people know how many calories they are eating without keeping track but I could see how some people might get really stressed out about it. There is a lot of research about the negative effects of stress and cortisol on the body, particularly the human brain.
