Should I up my calories when I'm sick?

As I'm already a relatively low weight, MFP has me on 1240 calories per day. I always eat back my exercise calories, but generally try not to go too far over my calorie goal.

So I woke up this morning with a nasty mumma of a cold, and honestly feel like death warmed up. My question is: would you up your calorie intake? Bear in mind, I'm not talking about binging on chocolate, but getting in some extra nutrient-dense but unfortunately calorie dense foods eg nuts, fruits, avocado. I figure my body has to be burning some extra calories battling the little bugger, and could do with some extra nutrients. What do you think?

EDIT: Spelling. Brain not working

Only if you feel hungry or if you need the extra nutrients. Just listen to your body, drink a lot of water and nap a lot.
Sorry if my advice is pretty basic but it's unnecessary to eat more than you need to in hopes of battling a cold faster.
