Hey!
I was studying abroad for 5 months and didn't do any exercise.
Before that I was in a gym and I loved it! But now I know I'll be in terrible shape and going back to the gym will "hurt" a little bit...
Is there any advice you can give me? Something I can do before I go back to the gym so that it will "hurt" less?

Embrace the pain! It means what you are doing is working.0

In the words of the sagely Nike, "Just do it"!0

There should be soreness, especially the first week or two. It is your muscles working again. And if you are lifting weights correctly, you will always have a certain amount of soreness after weight lifting. You can try and mitigate it by stretching, but embrace the soreness....soreness is a good thing.0

Thank you guys!
I guess I just have to get started with no excuses. I bet it will get easier in no time if I make it a habit again. Thanks!0
