I don't understand the clothing sizes people are listing. That's the truth.
5'10"
Started at 188 size 14
Now 153 size 10
I can fit into something smaller but 10 is very comfortable. In 1990 I weighed 140 and was a size 10 too.
I am a 36DD with a small waist and hips to match my bust. I wear a medium or small shirt now - which is bizarre to me.0 -
Everyone carries their weight differently/proportioned differently.0

I'm 5 ft 9 now 185lb, and a size 10-12. I have 36DD and fit into large shifts, sometimes medium, sometimes XL. When I was 172 cup size and shirt size were the same, pant size was 8-100

I'm 5'10. Dresses are size 10-12 depending on cut.. Seems I fit into 10's but I don't always like how they look so sometimes I go for 12.. Would like to fit into this hot dress I have that must be about a size 6 or 80

Oh and jeans! I do have a big behind but now I'm wearing 33-34 I'd love to be able to wear at least a 30 again.. Or maybe even 29!0

Im a little over 5'9". In high school and college I was 155 lb and was a size 10. That is my current goal weight.
I just had my third baby and gained ummmm too much weight. Ive lost 10 lbs in the last 2 mos or so and now Im 199 and wear size 14 pants and L or XL shirts. Im breastfeeding so my boobs are super big and my belly is a little more "out there" than normal (hey my baby was 10.5 lbs! haha) though Ive always had a ghetto booty so my pant sizes have always been a bit bigger.0 -
Height 5'9"
SW: 162lbs size 8
CW: 148lbs size 6
GW: 140lbs size 6
Final Goal: 130-135lbs (small Frame) size 4/6?0 -
5'9"
When I was 115 lbs I wore a size 0. That's my current goal. Due to medication changes I have gained about thirty lbs so I'm about 144 right now wearing a size 4-5. I'm losing about a pound a day which I wouldn't suggest to anyone.
Disclaimer: I have an eating disorder and have had one for twelve years.0 -
5'9. At SW of 184 I was squeezing into 12s but probably needed a 14 if I'd been honest with myself. L in tops.
At CW of 167 I seem to still be a 12 in dresses, but have recently bought some size 10 pants (although that's at the Gap, who I feel are fairly generous in their sizing). Still an L in tops (34DD). Was once told by a saleslady that I had "large shoulders", which I thought was just a euphemism for boobs, but since I can't get into a size 10 dress yet maybe she was right.....
I have been as thin as 147 as an adult but still don't think I've ever worn smaller than a 10. We'll see.0 -
i also wear a size small in tops and size 2-4 in dresses. hope this helps.0

I am not quite 5'9. But I am 5'8.
I am 170 and a size 10 now. I was a 12 at 185.
When I was smaller..
I was an 8 in the mid 150's to 160.
A size 6 in the mid 140's to low 150's.
And a 4/6 in the 135 to low 140's.
Ok so update...I am 162 now and can fit into some of my size 8 clothes! Yay!
Congratulations!0 -

192 pounds and a tight size 12 in jeans (As of 4/23 at my heaviest)
Weight currently unknown, but now a tight size10
I haven't weighed myself since I got back on track in April because the scale psychs me out even though I know better. However, the size 12 jeans that I bought in March now need to be held up by a belt. The belt went to notch one in May and now I have to take it to notch two. Also, I can get my size 10 shorts on again. They are a tight fit, but in March, while I could force them past my butt, zipping and buttoning them was out of the question.
Ultimately, I'm hoping to get back to a size 6, but I would be happy with an 8. I know it's a realistic goal because I have a small frame and was a 6/8 my entire adult life until I let my weight get out of control. My goal weight, based on history, is low to mid 150s. I have an hourglass figure no matter what I weigh, so I'm not worried about losing curves. I had curves when I was a 130 pound teenager.0 -
I'm still puzzled by this. I am 5'10", curvey, 151 pounds, and size 10 pants and small or medium top. 38", 28", 40" measurements. I can squeeze into smaller, but why? Size 8, sure, in a company that makes oversized clothes.
Size 2 or size 0? Come on. My grandmother is 5'0 and 96 pounds and wears a size 0.0 -
5'9"
200lbs
12 or 14 in jeans and pants (even at my 160lb goal I will likely still be a 12)
XL or L Tall in tops
Size 16/XL dress because my boobs and upper arms are big.0 -

Just speaking for myself, I have a small frame, a defined waist, and very narrow hips. When I weighed 152, my measurements were 36-26-35. I was a size 6 in Victoria's Secret jeans/shorts and they do not size generously. And I wasn't skinny fat. I worked out and did resistance training regularly.
Size 6 is personally the lowest that I want to go. When I was a size 6, I was healthy and in shape and it's something I can maintain with eating sensibly and working out. If it was unnatural for me to be that thin and I had to force my body into it by starving or some other extreme method, I wouldn't aim for it. I would be lying if I didn't admit that my vanity is a primary driver, but honestly, if I was firm and defined and couldn't get lower than a 10 or 12, I could live with it. But I can't live with being 30 pounds overweight and having a high percentage of body fat.0 -
5'10, 140-142Ibs, Uk size 6-8.
Usa, can fit size 2-4. I think there is a lot more vanity sizing in USA clothing actually.0 -
5'10'', 129 lbs, US/Canada size 4 - 6 depending.
When I was 140 lbs I was a size 6 - 8, again depending on brand.0 -
