In a manner of speaking. I'm really frustrated/plateaued. I'm at a point in my fitness adventure where I need to start focusing on the details. Things like, am I getting enough of specific nutrients instead of am I eating the right number of anything calories. I started out 5' 8" weighing in the 210's. Now I'm, if you can imagine it, still 5' 8" and in the 155 range. I have been doing some lifting and strength training instead of just cardio (the way I got the weight off) so I know that the scale isn't to be totally trusted but I've not seen a weight change in some time. I'm also dealing with shin splints because I was too cheap to buy new shoes so that IS slowing down my cardio routine.
Anyway, all this to say, I've decided not to give up. You shouldn't either. However far you've come is worth moving forward. I don't look like an underwear model but for the first 20 something years of my life I wasn't even healthy. I'm committing to moving forward, learning how to feed myself and pushing through this stagnant feeling time on to more awesome.
