Alright here's todays question. I've been doing weights 3 days a week in addition to my cardio workout 5 days a week. this has been going on for 3 weeks now. I also am making a point to eat back the calories i burn which i have not done before. I lost 58lb last year by only doing cardio. Now that I added weights I'm not losing pounds but I'm due to measure inches next weekend. My question is, if I want to lose another 10-15lb, should i go back to nothing but cardio until i lose it, and then start weights?

No. Keep up with the weights. You may not see the pounds move as quickly, but I bet you'll see other differences (i.e. posture, the way things fit, how "jiggly" things seem, etc). Plus, as a woman weight lifting is so important as it helps maintain bone density.0

Do you care more about the number on the scale or how you look?
If you want a certain look - stick with the weights. If you really want a number (regardless of how you look) skip them and go back to just cardio.
I weigh 183lbs (at 5'6", so I'm not exactly tall). I don't think it looks like I weigh that. Thank you weight lifting!0 -
I had a similar dilemma but for me weightlifting is what keeps me motivated.
if you have only been lifting for a few weeks now you will still be gaining strength and muscle even on a caloric deficit, so I would stick with it. The number on the scale may not be your friend initially - but the weight will still come down, albeit a bit slower. That being said I think it would be reasonable to just cardio to your goal then get back on the weights, since your goal isn't too far away0 -

Screw the weight. Go for body fat percentage. Being LIGHTER doesn't make you fitter necessarily.0
