How many calories do I BURN doing THAT?

I found a great calorie burn counter that lists all sorts of activiites and their calorie burn based on your weight. I had to get a better idea with my workouts because some of the descriptions aren't offered on MFP. I hope you find it useful.

I've used this site for years, pre- HRM, and I love it! Great recommendation!

Interesting. I want to get a monitor to wear during my workouts and when I walk/jog/run. Any recommendations on that? Would be great if it tied into MFP and more importantly does NOT have a monthly fee to pay!

I'll check it out but I find my heart rate monitor to be the easiest, most accurate way to calculate my calorie burn. It takes out all of the guess work.

    I'd recommend a Polar FT4.

I also use the Polar FT4. It's great, but does not speak to MFP if that feature is important to you. Since it only takes a minute to add your cardio I don't think that feature is incredibly important. I also use the (free) RunKeeper app to track all of my hiking and other activies. I can't imagine needing any more tracking tools.
