Stressed out and got the munchies!

I am having such a stressful day. And every time I sit down at my desk I want to snack. There are candies and chips all over our office.

Thankfully I packed pre-measured bags of fresh veggies in my lunch bag. I have managed to go for the veggies instead of the junk so far. I don't know how long I can hold out though!

    I know that feeling. We have faculty coming in for training all the time and they always bring sweets and such to share. I do the same and keep healthy alternative snacks around. When the cravings get too much I take a 5 minute walk when I can. Or clinch my fists, focus on that for 30 seconds, then release.

  • Grab a box of Fiber Choice. It has totally cured my urge to munch, maybe a little too much. You'll have to drink a lot of water with them but you'll feel so full, you won't want to munch on the stuff in your office
    Plus the three Flavors (strawberry, grape, & green apple) tastes just as good as the office candy ;-)
