So how do you help yourself when you just are struggling. Here is the deal. I am stressed in other areas in my life than in turn i eat due to stress. Than I get down about eating so i eat more. ANd now i have gained back all of my weight and my eating is out of control. I need help but i just do not know where to start. For example, today would have been a great eating day but what do i do eat a ton of girl scout cookies and order a pizza and say screw it i already screwed up. So than i keep eating junk and say i will start tomorrow. For the Love of God how do i snap back to how i use to be. :grumble:

Hey Friend!
So I haven't read it but I want to....there is a book called "made to crave" and it deals with the true core issues of why we crave food. Heres a link
http://www.amazon.com/s/?ie=UTF8&keywords=made+to+crave&tag=googhydr-20&index=aps&hvadid=5544128727&hvpos=1t2&hvexid=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=1540962932671156368&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=e&ref=pd_sl_88p3nv3txg_e
My sister read it and loved it...
I love you!!! You aren't alone!

Start now. Don't wait until tomorrow unless it is time to snooze in your region. Tomorrow stop before you order the pizza and get rid of the girl scout cookies. It is tough to deal with the sweets, get them out and only have something on hand that you can deal with. But stop saying so I messed up I will have what I want. That is a 'diet' and a defeatist attitude. Learn how to make small changes and stay with them.0

This sounds really dumb, but for me it works - I don't ever tell myself I won't eat bad food - instead I look at the bad food (sometimes I even have it in my hand ready to go) and I say to myself 20 times 'I want to be slim MORE than I want that 'whatever it is I think I want'.
20 times... starts out being said through gritted teeth, but by the end of it, I am usually smiling, thinking 'hell yeah, I DON'T want that food anywhere nNEAR as much as I want to be slim.!
And I have a glass of water, wait 10 minutes and eat whatever I had planned to eat. And If I do fall off teh rails - there's no - I'l start tomorrow' it's right, I enjoyed that, but right now - I'm back on track - even though I know I'll be over that day - it starts straight away.
For the stress/eating/down thing- look at what's stressing you - write it all down in a list. If you can do anythign about any of it - write some steps to start achieving it . Anything you can't do something about, write on another list - then screw it up/throwit away/burn it/flush it - whatever you need to do to get rid of it. And forget it - work on the stuff you can do.
Down about yourself? Ask your mum/friend/partner/child for a hug. They love YOU not who you see yourself as. Unconditionally.
Good luck and take care !0 -

"Yes, you. You are capable of greatness. You can seriously become whatever you want if you’re willing to work for it.
What you did five minutes ago is done and cannot be changed. What you do five minutes from now, however, is completely up to you.
You are NOT your past.
You ARE your future."0 -
Also, if you binge on something and then think "oh well I already ruined today, might as well keep eating crap". Compare that attitude to dropping your cell phone on the ground. Yea it sucks. But instead of picking it back up, you stomp on it until it's 100 pieces....you wouldn't. You'd pick it up and move on with life!
Same thing with a binge or bad meal! I try to keep that mentality when I slip.0 -
Remember my blog post from the Dancing Cyclist blog? It talks about exactly that, the I blew it today so I'll start tomorrow thing. Been there, tomorrowed myself up to almost 300 pounds and overcame it to come back down. You can do it. I know you can. Go back and look at that post. I know you can do this.0
