My husband bought me raw honey, thinking that it would be better then the kind in the plastic bear bottle. I heard that honey is bad for you.... does that go for raw honey as well?

Raw honey is absolutely amazing, and packed full of some amazing health benefits!!
I love the taste, and texture much better than the kind of honey that comes in a bear, or other generic bottle...plus, knowing the added effects of consuming raw honey makes me feel even more excited about it!
Keep eating honey, it's absolutely fabulous!

Why would honey be bad for you? This is a genuine question, I've never heard anything about it being bad0

I mean, it is sugar, so moderate it. And definitely measure it. And use the values from the USDA rather than random things.

But no honey is potentially better for you than processed sugar, and it certainly isn't worse.0 -

Compartmentalizing food into "bad" and "good" really doesn't work... Honey, raw or not, is 'good' if its part of a well-balanced, nutrient rich diet. Honey is bad if eaten in excess at the expense of other nutritious foods.0
