Just joined today. Im so ready to lose weight and Im determined. My goal is to lose 10 pounds in a month. So by April 30th, I hope to be 10 pounds lighter. Is this a logical goal?

Welcome! 10 pounds is a high goal but I was able to do it with a strict 1200 net calorie diet. I worked out 5 times a weeks and made sure to burn 500-600 calories each workout so I could eat more each day since I wasn't used to eating healthy size portions. Put your mind to it and realize this is not a diet but a lifestyle change if you want it to last. Diets have an end date but to lose the weight and keep it off it must be a lifestyle change. So have those things you craze once in a while just in moderation. I love chocolate so instead of eating a king size candy bar I would get the fun size ones or what I found worked better for me was to by a regular/small size candy bar and cut it in half or into 1 serving. Sometimes those fun size ones are tricky and make you think "Oh they are so small one more won't hurt" Wrong! That would turn into 3 or 4 more for me
Just don't get frustrated if you don't lose a lot right away and be very conscious of what you are putting in your body and what you have to do to burn the calories so it doesn't turn to fat. You will get there!
A year ago I was in a size 16 pants and this past Sunday I bought my first pair of size 10s!

That is awesome... Im looking forward in seeing results. Any weight loss is a plus for me, so if I am not able to reach my goal, I will be happy with what I do lose, because its one step closer to my goal weight.0

Thanks.. I know its a high goal.. but I am always setting high goals...lol But any weight loss is always a plus for me so if I am not able to meet my goal I will be happy with what I do lose.. as long as I dont gain0
