Wheat Belly

Has anyone read Wheat Belly? Or used the Wheat Belly cookbook? I have heard from a few friends it is a great read, but I want to know it is worth the money.

Eat now whatever you plan on eating when you are "off your diet." The Wheat Belly thing has been floating around the forums for a while and a quick search will bring back more results than you can shake a stick at.

Basically as stated before, unless you have some sort of medical reason for staying away from wheat, don't worry about it. Eat what you love so that when you are ready to maintain, you don't have to change your eating habits.

I thought the book was long, rambling and the science presented was dubious at best but the diet itself is your basic low carb diet which has proven to be effective for a lot of people. So while I think the diet has merit I don't think there's any reason you should buy the book. Here's a great low carb eating plan for free:

Thank you guys!! I do have a wheat sensitivity and have been Gluten Free since the beginning of January. I also am allergic to eggs so I am always looking for accurate information regarding foods and different kinds of cooking without wheat or wheat products. I have experimented and failed with many recent recipes and now am learning not only how to cook but also how to detect all the hidden words in foods to ensure they do not contain wheat.

I thank you all for the information and plan to continue researching this as my journey has just began.
