Changing calorie goal?

I weigh in on Wednesdays, so when I updated my weight today, MFP changed my daily calorie goals from 1320 to 1290. I know it isn't a lot, but I'm wondering if that is typical? I think I lost about 2 pounds since last week. Most days I have to work hard to keep at or under the daily calories, so losing 30 more a day is hard! I exercise about 5 days a week, usually an hour on the treadmill. If MFP keeps dropping my calories when I lose weight, I'm gonna get mighty hungry!! Thoughts?

Yup. As you lose weight you burn less calories since there's literally less of you that's burning energy.

You original goal may have been too low to begin with though.

As you lose weight, your body requires less energy...thus less calories. I custom set mine and adjust down every 5 Lbs...I think MFP does it auto every 10 Lbs...but it might be 5 also.
