Not eating enough?

I've seen over and over that I need to eat at least 1,200 calories a day. My goal is 1,100. But I don't stick to this goal everyday. It's almost impossible with how busy I am. I'm only 5'1". I don't seem to be losing any energy, and I exercise 3 times a week. I'm thinking that the days that I eat over my limit makes up for any calories I lose on the days I eat a 1,100. Any thoughts?

you need to eat more!!! i personally feel that eating 1100 calories a day is too low. you should never eat below 1200 calories or you can risk having your body go into starvation mode!! eating below 1200 calories a day or two wont effect you that much but if you are constantly eating 1100 calories every day your body may already be in starvation mode!!! even though you say you feel fine now eating 1100 cal/day you are not getting the proper nutrition your body needs & in the long run your metabolism will slow down along with other problems that come along with under eating!

i had the same problem i only use to eat 1200 cal/day, nothing more & some days i would not even meet my goal. bad idea that was... not only was it a bad idea i felt terrible, i had low blood sugar attacks, felt weak/dizzy all the time & i hit a plateau & was not losing any weight. within the past few months i have upped my calories to abut 1500 cal -just above my bmr but below my tdee. on the days that i workout i will eat more usually around 1800-1900 cal.
