What fitness exercises are beneficial for playing Squash?

Currently I'm playing squash at a center that also has a fitness area. What fitness exercises are beneficial or could you recommend for playing Squash ? I'd be interested to know also what intensity or repetitions would be good.

Interval training and dynamic resistance like squats and lunges with weights. Ask one of the trainers to help set you up with weights and reps because can't do it without seeing how strong etc you are at the moment etc. e.g I could tell you to leg press 200lb in 3 sets of 15 reps because that's what I do, but you need to push your muscles to failure and I have no idea if that is too hard or easy for you0

A full-body workout would be helpful to any sport, as well as to overall health. Best would be free weights (squats,deadlifts, and presses). Intensity and reps should be at a level that leaves you at or near failure - i.e., you should have to push yourself to finish your last reps.0
