So what is everyone having for Easter dinner? I am having my parents over. Maybe my brother will show up too. My fiance & his grandmother will be home of course so I don't know whats too much food.
Dinner is at 2pm & then were heading to my Aunt's for dessert at 5pm.
I have so far:
a double glazed brown sugar spiral ham
mustard ham sauce I make
Salad w/ italian seasoning, oil & red wine vinegar dressing
Rolls of some sort
My mom is bringing her potato salad
broccoli of course, my go to veggie
roasted baby veggies w/ a maple glaze (pearl onions, baby carrots & anything else I can find)
I have to just be careful of my portions at dinner & have a bite of dessert. This is going to be a nightmare to track when all is said & done.

I am making a sprial ham for the ham eaters and a rosemary-mustard glazed turkey breast tenderloin for myself and my kids. I am also making:
Quinoa and veggie pilaf (red peppers, zucchini, seasonings)
roasted asparagus
brown rice pasta salad with home made dressing and veggies
mashed potatoes (for the ham eaters, lol)
baked yams
healthy deviled eggs (tofu and egg yolks for the filling)
french silk pie (ham eaters again)
strawberry shortcakes (w/real healthy whipped cream and homemade shortcakes)
My mom is coming in from Cape Cod and my sister is hosting dinner, but I am cooking. We'll have a total of 4 adults, 2 teenagers and five kids ages 2-7. We also plan to take the kids to the park to play and ride bikes to help burn off the little candy they are all getting. We're trying to reshape how our kids expect to eat on holidays.0 -
