Maybe I have just been living in some dream world but just been filling in my diary after lunch and I never realised how many carbs were in fruit!
I thought I was taking the healthy option but my carb intake is really over to top, any tips for low carb snacks?

If you're trying to stay low carb then vegetables are a better option to fruit, things like carrot, cucumber, bell pepper and celery sticks. You could make an avocado dip to go with. I'm not following a low carb diet and feel that carbs from fruit are not a problem, carbs in the form of refined sugar (sweets, pure cane sugar, cakes etc) then I stay well away from that.0

I try not to eat more than one fruit per day because of the fruit sugar. In the evening when I want to snack on something I'll have some nuts and almonds. :-)0 -
Thanks ladies, very helpful.
I'm not trying to specifically stay away from carbs it was more that I had noticed my intake was quite high and wanted to even things out to the recommended levels0
