Hello fellow MFPers!
My name is Justin, I am 29 years old, and have lost 93lbs! I lost over 100lbs in 2011 due to all the great MFP friends and tools available here! Today is my 2 year MFP Anniversary. On this date, two years ago my wife was given a diabetic diet to follow due to having gestational diabetes. After a healthy pregnancy and giving birth to healthy (now 18 month old) son. We have both lost weight and have found MFP to be a wonderful resource. My HW mark is 292 and my lowest last summer was 184. I set my goal originally for 192. However, I got away from logging and exercising but I am making a come back.
The summer of last year I had a nerve injury which forced me to stop running. I basically haven't been logging or exercising since and gained around 18lbs. I am getting back on the band wagon again and reset my goal to 186. (Currently 198.6) I plan on getting back to running when winter breaks here in Wisconsin in the meantime I will use my elliptical trainer. After I reach my goal I plan on continuing to use MFP for encouragement and maintaining.
So I posted on here to say, HELLO AGAIN and if you want to connect to me for mutual encouragement I am game. Either way, know that MFP works and produces results.
Daily discipline over the course of time = success.
Glory to God and may you have wonderful success!
P.S. When my wife was 9 months pregnant she weighed 25lbs less than the start of her pregnancy! P.S.S. Not advised for everyone, she was carefully monitored by her doctor, nutritionist, and a diabetic counselor.
