Nike+ Fit Band

Should we be adding calories that are calculated by HRMs or the Nike+ Fit Band to our exercise routines? I burned over 2,000 calories yesterday in an 8 hour work day, for example, and will likely do it again tonight. Do we need to add that into the exercise log, or is that specifically for calories burned when you are exercising?
