Any dudes use the hip abductor/adductor machines?

These are the machines that work the outer and inner thighs..... and ladies give you the weird stare if they catch you using them.

EDIT - Clarification: I used to, when I did all the machines at PF. I maxed it out, never felt much effect. Now I believe I get a far better workout for the same muscles doing free weights.0 -

In all fairness, this guy uses them on occasion, and he swears it helps with his squats. That said, he doesn't make them a focus of his training, from what I have gathered.

I do the on occasion, but they are the last thing I would do at the the end of my workout.0

I use them occasionally, and know of the pain you speak.
I've maxed out the weight on one machine, and am getting close on the other, so their usefulness to me is diminishing, though.
