Self Worth Increases at Weight Goes Down!

Am I the only one that gets comments thinly veiled as compliments about how good I look and this means that men must now be showing me so much more interest. Is this supposed to mean that my self-worth as woman has increased just because I have lost some weight? Not everyone that is losing weight is looking for attention from the opposite sex. I sought to lose weight for health reasons, how I look is in the eye of the beholder.
Is anyone else dealing with this type of issue?

Everyone, everywhere.
A woman's worth is measured only by was she looks like dontcha know?
Even Jessica Simpson, who is all weight watchers-y and "I am a normal woman not a supermodel" said something like "I looked down at the scale and thought to myself my life is over" in an interview not too long ago.
Thanks Jessica. Guess I should go kill myself now.
It's a message we get over and over again.
Ok well after that rant I am going to go burn a few bras!0
