Squatting one leg at a time with dumbells and lifting dumbells at each squat? I think they are supposed to make my butt smaller

kind of like this but if she curled the dumbells at the bottom of the squat. (and weighed a whole lot more and were a whole lot more tan and a whole lot more fine.)

sorry for the arrogant self complimenting but it's valentine's day and I've decided to love on myself for the time being.

No, it makes your glutes bigger.
They're just lunges combined with bicep curls at the same time.0 -
does it have a name for logging on my exercise diary or is it logged as two exercises?
is it strength training or cardio?0 -
Instead of logging each individual exercise (how tedious is that?!) just log it as one cardio session. Create a cardio exercise called "strength training" and put in how long your entire session went for and how many calories you burnt. You'll have to look up online How much you burn during strength training / weight lifting because you can't track it via a heart rate monitor. I'm 5 foot weigh 49kg and burn 150 an hour doing heavy weights.0

"Lunge with biceps curl", like the lady said. Unless you're knocking out 30 of these every minute, there's little cardio involved. Decent strength move, though, if your dumbbells are heavy enough.0
