oh please, like anybody ever uses sarcasm on MFP.......

many places I used to frequent had people who just never understood the concept of sarcasm. We would use red fonts to clearly indicate sarcasm. But it didn't matter, the idjits still were idjits and couldn't understand things anyway.

^this unfortunately...and then they will say they still didn't realize it was sarcasm even when they know it is the color/font of sarcasm.

What is even more funny is when someone spells it out below the post that they are being sarcastic and still get flak

Is this a service to Teach Sarcasm or to help those who don't know what it is understand the concept? I have know a few who are clueless when its used on them, I could refer them. However, you cant teach it - its a naturally occurring talent that only a rare few are gifted enough to have.
