Scoliosis and limits!

I suffer with Scoliosis and a lot of Chronic Pain.. Which limits me on what exercises I can do :( Due to all this I ended up gaining weight and I have had enough! So far walking and little leg lifts are all I have been able to do without a lot of added pain.But I do suffer from pain just doing this! Anyone else deal with this?

    Try yoga. I have fibromyalgia so I understand the pain. Walking and yoga has really helped me. It hurts at first, but exercise can help slowly lower chronic pain.

    I know all cases are different, but Lamar Gant (record holding powerlifter) swears that deadlifting actually kept his scoliosis pain at bay better than anything. Feel free to look him up and see if his case is anything like yours.
  • Thank you both for the insight! I am going to keep my walking and start with other exercises once my body gets used to this sudden change
