They aren't too bad. They have a slight eggy/custard taste (only not sweet). Mine didn't look anything like the picture though.

It's been awhile since I've made them, but I remember the batter being kind of runny. I used a cheap cookie sheet which bends out of shape slightly when I put it in the oven. So they turned out more like a lopsided oopsie sheet cake.

Not gonna lie, read the thread topic and thought this was going to be some sort of diet pill...

And then I saw the photo, and thought they were going to be like pão de queijo (which are awesome, btw)...

And then I looked up a recipe.

I've made this before, it's quick and easy and not a bad substitute for bread.

I've made these before and they are good. They're not bread and they won't fool anyone into thinking they're bread, but they do the job of bread perfectly, and they taste good in their own rights. I am a fan of them.

Well my first batch is in the oven now. I can't wait to try them and see if they came out good! They aren't that difficult to make, actually pretty easy if you read the instructions correctly. I made quite a few oopsies (pun intended) while making these because I didn't pay attention to the details at first. I got it now!

They really are pretty good. The consistency is kind of like eating air lol but they are a great alternative to bread. I will be making more soon.
  • I made these and they were a complete disaster!
