How much protein should I be eating?!+CARB Q

Hey everyone!

I've searched online and had a look at the forums but I can't really find much help.
I exercise every day for at least half an hour, some days I can be burning up to 1000 calories.
I know there's a lot of percentages flying around, but I'm more looking for a number. It's been said that 120 grams for active people looking to lose weight is good.
Also, I'm a vegetarian so how exactly am I supposed to take on board such high amounts of protein.

ONE last thing, if I'm losing weight should I be cutting back on carbs?
