Anyone had the knee fluid injections?
I had miniscal repair and bone spurs done 18 months ago, and I have OA.
One of the options the Dr suggested was replacement fluid (Oil change anyone?) So what I have read is kinda 50/50 for and against, and that needle looks freaking HUGE, But...
I need to be able to move without my knee killing me, the fear of it giving way and me falling down. To not be able to warm my hands on my knee would be a plus too! I see it as a short term fix to my long term weight loss solution.
So, anyone done it? how was it, and did it work?

I don't have any reccomendations one way or the other. I have an OA unrelated knee condition but, I found this board: http://www.kneeguru.co.uk/KNEEtalk/index.php to be extremely helpful for all things knee related.
I hope that helps! Good luck, knee problems are the pits!0
