Hi all :) I lost 25 pounds last year and reached my goal! wohooo! But unfortunately, was lazy and let 19 of those pounds come back...ugh! I am disgusted with myself, but I have the choice to whine about it and just have memories of myself at my goal weight or I can get back on the horse again and get myself there again with hard work. I choose the later ;)

I am looking for weight losers with similar lifestyles to connect with and get to know. I am about to turn 40 (..gulp) in a year and want to reach my goal and stay there before I hit the big age! I am a mom of 3 kiddos (11,9,2) and work full time. I have been married almost 16 years and still think he is hot ;)

I was challenged a couple of years ago to walk a half-marathon. I was naive enough to do it! I LOVED it! Don't get me wrong, the 12 weeks of training aren't always fun, but it was SUCH a self accomplishment, and I haven't been prouder of myself in years ;). So last year, I decided to do another one. My goal now is to do one a year. This year's is towards the end of April and I have started training for it.

The first year I did one, I did it in 3:30--I know that is a LONG time :) (mainly walked, with a jog here and there) but my goal was to do it and NOT be the last person! ha! I reached those goals.

The second year, my goal was to improve my time (trained to jog about .4 each mile)....and that I did--I finished in 2:59!!! Of course they were different places and altitudes, etc. But I was proud.

This year's goal is to beat my time once again. (I am going to train to jog about .5 each mile)....so I am excited! I know it will be easier if i can get the 19 pounds back off...

I am looking for friends with similar interests :) Thanks!
