We all know that when you drop something, it falls to the ground immediately because of gravity, right? So, look at this apparent anomaly of science:

This is a real video that has not been doctored for effect. IT is just played in slow mo from a 1000 frames per second video. There are tons of videos out there that you can watch that show the same phenomenon.
Now, my initial reaction when I saw this was that the force applied in the upward direction by the spring tension in the slinky was equal to that of the downward pull of gravity on the slinky. However, I have been on MFP for a long time, and now know that conventional science does not work here. So, I wanted to solicit everyone's opinion and see what you thought? Is the slinky in starvation mode because it had less than 1200 dynes applied to it today?

It has to do with how the toxins in the surrounding air are processed by the slinky's current and budgeted thermidas for the day. Also, ketones are keeping it off the ground.0

Well, neither bbcode or html tags worked. I guess you can't embed here.. Or if you can, can someone tell me the tags I need to use?0 -

I'm pretty sure it had something to do with that chick wanting to meet up with her ex. Yup, that's it definitely.0

I like your initial explanation, but it's possible that the slinky wasn't made "clean" and so it isn't functioning properly.0

So, what we need to do is a slinky cleanse in order for it to make it's optimum performance. Do you recommend the Dr. Oz 48 hour weekend cleanse, or the lemon detox diet cleanse?0 -
Why is everyone so mean?0
